Who we are
Sterling Health Journal is an educational publication written by an editorial team. We are not doctors, and nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or take medication, talk to a qualified professional before changing your diet, sleep routine or starting a supplement.
How we write
Every factual claim links to a study or an institution such as PubMed, WHO or Cochrane. We describe what research shows and where the evidence is weak, and we avoid promising results. Articles show the date they were last updated. The calculators use published formulas, and each one states its method and limits.
How we are funded
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Links are marked, and the commission does not change how we describe the evidence.
Corrections and contact
If you spot an error or an outdated claim, please tell us at our editorial team (a contact address will be published here before launch). We review reports and update the article.
